#6323 - Maxell - Leyland - BOAC Car
Reference Maxell ( India ) : 532
Item with its box - individual cardboard box type (4 sides, 4 flaps, 2 tabs)
Model status: 4.0
Very interesting product! In the 1960s/1970s, this Indian firm used European tooling to produce locally. Everyone benefited: when a model reached the end of its life, rather than destroying the mold, European manufacturers would sell it cheaply to toy manufacturers in less economically developed countries. This unexpected second life, with its decorations adapted to the local or export market, allows collectors to acquire interesting variations like this one! The model presented here is inspired by the English Dinky Toys reference 283; the "BOAC Airport Coach". This Indian version is equipped with black plastic wheels with chrome decoration. Even if the condition is not perfect, it is important to appreciate this type of piece, especially when offered with their boxes! We offer you this set at a very reasonable price. How can you hesitate?!

Our models
Auto Jaune Junior offers vintage toys, accessories, documents, and other spare parts that may show slight signs of wear, dirt, or missing pieces. We take great care in describing each item to accurately reflect its condition and make it a point to note any major defects or peculiarities (repainted models, paint touch-ups, crude modifications, inaccurate decals, non-original boxes, etc.).

The descriptions
However, the quality and accuracy of our description may sometimes be proportional to the value of the model: for lower-priced models, the description may be more concise. Nevertheless, each product for sale is photographed from three angles; and we have implemented the ability to zoom in on the photos (by clicking on them) to allow you to examine the product in detail.
that's only if you had it in your own hands. -
Our tools
We therefore invite you to use these various tools to carefully examine the characteristics of the models that interest you. Consequently, even if they are not mentioned in the textual description of the model, all types of defects (chips, scratches, deformations, retouching, or non-original repairs) that may be visible in the photos cannot be used as valid grounds for canceling an order.
