During a visit to the Saint-Ouen flea market, Vincent's father, Bernard Espinasse, gave him what would become the first model in his collection: a Politoys Panther. It's worth noting that young Vincent was already passionate about motor racing.

  • An immediate passion

It only took a few months for this innocuous gift to transmit the collecting bug to Vincent, who, at the age of 12, began to travel to swap meets and flea markets with his father throughout France.

Here is the first model from the Vincent Espinasse collection.

  • The quest for excellence

A series of encounters and travels quickly followed. A thirst for adventure and a quest for knowledge were the driving forces behind this shared passion. Father and son began to build what would become the ESPINASSE collection.

Very quickly, they will be called upon to participate in numerous works.

In 1984, Vincent decided to turn his passion into his profession by creating the AutoJaune store. He was the first merchant to create a store specializing solely in diecast miniatures outside of the Saint-Ouen Flea Market. The ESPINASSE collection became the AutoJaune collection.

Penelope and Adrien, Vincent's children, will take over.
