#6308 - Unknown British Manufacturer - Record Car - The Monster!
Reference Unknown British manufacturer ( Great Britain ) : 0
Standalone item -
Model status: 4.5
This silhouette is typical of pre-war British toys depicting land speed record cars that were very popular in the 1930s (Malcolm Campbell and his Bluebird, Henry Segrave and his Golden Arrow, John Cobb and his Railton). These real vehicles greatly inspired English toy manufacturers of the time. The material (plaster/composition – a mixture based on plaster, glue and sometimes sawdust, molded then painted) was very common in England between the two wars for inexpensive toys, especially among small manufacturers or for sale at bazaars/fairs. Our model is equipped with zamac wheels painted sand-colored. This whimsical toy manufacturer has not remained in the collective memory... which makes our item all the rarer!

Our models
Auto Jaune Junior offers vintage toys, accessories, documents, and other spare parts that may show slight signs of wear, dirt, or missing pieces. We take great care in describing each item to accurately reflect its condition and make it a point to note any major defects or peculiarities (repainted models, paint touch-ups, crude modifications, inaccurate decals, non-original boxes, etc.).

The descriptions
However, the quality and accuracy of our description may sometimes be proportional to the value of the model: for lower-priced models, the description may be more concise. Nevertheless, each product for sale is photographed from three angles; and we have implemented the ability to zoom in on the photos (by clicking on them) to allow you to examine the product in detail.
that's only if you had it in your own hands. -
Our tools
We therefore invite you to use these various tools to carefully examine the characteristics of the models that interest you. Consequently, even if they are not mentioned in the textual description of the model, all types of defects (chips, scratches, deformations, retouching, or non-original repairs) that may be visible in the photos cannot be used as valid grounds for canceling an order.
