Peu fréquent modèle. L'Astro II (réf. SB-102), reproduit un concept-car réel : la Chevrolet Astro II, un show-car présenté par Chevrolet en 1968, préfigurant certaines lignes de la future Corvette. Ce modèle a été créé spécifiquement pour la ligne Gran Toros et ne figurait pas dans les gammes Mebetoys d'origine ! C'est donc une pièce née de l'ère Mattel, avec capot, coffre et portières ouvrants, typique du savoir-faire italien mis au service de l'esthétique Hot Wheels. « Sputafuoco » (littéralement « cracheur de feu » en italien) est le nom donné en Italie à cette gamme équivalente des Hot Wheels « Gran Toros », une ligne développée par Mattel spécifiquement pour le marché italien au tournant des années 1970. Il en résulte cette boîte très impressionnante ! Equipé de roues monoblocs en plastique de couleur noir avec insert en plastique chromé et chassis Hot Wheels; ce modèle vous est ici proposé à un prix très raisonnable !
