#6306 - Mebetoys - Chevrolet - Astro II Burner
Reference Mebetoys ( Italy ) : SB 102
Fire-breather
Item with its box - of the individual cardboard box type (4 sides, 4 flaps, 2 tabs)
Model status: 5.0
An uncommon model. The Astro II (ref. SB-102) reproduces a real concept car: the Chevrolet Astro II, a show car presented by Chevrolet in 1968, foreshadowing some lines of the future Corvette. This model was created specifically for the Gran Toros line and was not included in the original Mebetoys ranges! It is therefore a piece born from the Mattel era, with opening hood, trunk and doors, typical of Italian know-how at the service of Hot Wheels aesthetics. "Sputafuoco" (literally "fire-breather" in Italian) is the name given in Italy to this equivalent range of Hot Wheels "Gran Toros", a line developed by Mattel specifically for the Italian market at the turn of the 1970s. The result is this very impressive box! Equipped with black plastic one-piece wheels with chrome plastic insert and Hot Wheels chassis; this model is offered to you here at a very reasonable price!

Our models
Auto Jaune Junior offers vintage toys, accessories, documents, and other spare parts that may show slight signs of wear, dirt, or missing pieces. We take great care in describing each item to accurately reflect its condition and make it a point to note any major defects or peculiarities (repainted models, paint touch-ups, crude modifications, inaccurate decals, non-original boxes, etc.).

The descriptions
However, the quality and accuracy of our description may sometimes be proportional to the value of the model: for lower-priced models, the description may be more concise. Nevertheless, each product for sale is photographed from three angles; and we have implemented the ability to zoom in on the photos (by clicking on them) to allow you to examine the product in detail.
that's only if you had it in your own hands. -
Our tools
We therefore invite you to use these various tools to carefully examine the characteristics of the models that interest you. Consequently, even if they are not mentioned in the textual description of the model, all types of defects (chips, scratches, deformations, retouching, or non-original repairs) that may be visible in the photos cannot be used as valid grounds for canceling an order.
