4×4 Off Road
Item without its box -
Model status: 5.0
It's the mid-1970s. Tootsietoy still exists! Its productions have evolved considerably! This van, a replica of a Chevy Blazer, is equipped with black plastic wheels with plastic tires. This model belongs to the "4x4 Off Road" series that Tootsietoy produced in the late 1970s and early 1980s, which responded to the competition from Matchbox, Hot Wheels, and Majorette by capitalizing on the 4x4 and "van/off-road" craze prevalent in American popular culture of the late 70s. Tootsietoy positioned itself in the economy segment — toys sold for a few cents to a dollar, more rustic than Matchbox but robust. Die-cast zamac body. Bumpers, grille; visible winch/bar and chassis in chrome plastic, with plastic windows and interior. All the ingredients are there: it's the typical American dime-store toy of the mid-70s!

Our models
Auto Jaune Junior offers vintage toys, accessories, documents, and other spare parts that may show slight signs of wear, dirt, or missing pieces. We take great care in describing each item to accurately reflect its condition and make it a point to note any major defects or peculiarities (repainted models, paint touch-ups, crude modifications, inaccurate decals, non-original boxes, etc.).

The descriptions
However, the quality and accuracy of our description may sometimes be proportional to the value of the model: for lower-priced models, the description may be more concise. Nevertheless, each product for sale is photographed from three angles; and we have implemented the ability to zoom in on the photos (by clicking on them) to allow you to examine the product in detail.
that's only if you had it in your own hands. -
Our tools
We therefore invite you to use these various tools to carefully examine the characteristics of the models that interest you. Consequently, even if they are not mentioned in the textual description of the model, all types of defects (chips, scratches, deformations, retouching, or non-original repairs) that may be visible in the photos cannot be used as valid grounds for canceling an order.
