Cette Morris Mini-Minor portant la référence 226 reproduit la Mini originelle de BMC dessinée par Alec Issigonis (lancée fin 1959). Corgi la produira dès 1960; et jusqu'en 1968. Ce coloris bleu avec intérieur rouge sera sera le coloris de lancement. Jantes en acier chromées de premier type équipé de pneus crantés (treaded tyres) à fine nervure, d'origine. Notre modèle est donc issu du début de production. Châssis avec des trous au-dessus des essieux (type 1a). Pare-chocs avant inférieur étroit . Cette version est donc très précoce (1960 - 1961). Suspension fonctionnelles. Quelques petits défauts : discrets frottements sur le pavillon; petit éclat sur la plaque avant. Cela ne vient pas entacher le rendu global : le modèle est très beau. Très belle peinture épaisse et brillante. Nous vous proposons ce modèle à un excellent rapport qualité prix. C'est un original.
