#5535 - Dinky Toys - Leyland - "Exide Batteries" Bus
Reference Dinky Toys ( Great Britain ) : 291
200's Series - Dinky Toys England
Item without its box -
Model status: 4.0
This double-decker bus is one of the most enduring pillars of the Dinky Toys GB range. This same body mold was used from 1938 (Ref.29C) to 1963 (Ref.291). Red-painted zamac wheels and original notched tires (which are not dried out). Leyland-type grille. This model belongs to the ultimate production; between 1959 and 1963, which came in two versions: Dunlop and Exide. The second version being much rarer than the first. However, it is not the ultimate version, which would be equipped with plastic wheels. It has discreet chips: mainly on the edges of the roof, as well as on some prominent parts. These small defects do not detract from this beautiful and thick glossy paint. The decorations present well. The whole is entirely original. Take advantage of this low price to acquire this rarer variant!

Our models
Auto Jaune Junior offers vintage toys, accessories, documents, and other spare parts that may show slight signs of wear, dirt, or missing pieces. We take great care in describing each item to accurately reflect its condition and make it a point to note any major defects or peculiarities (repainted models, paint touch-ups, crude modifications, inaccurate decals, non-original boxes, etc.).

The descriptions
However, the quality and accuracy of our description may sometimes be proportional to the value of the model: for lower-priced models, the description may be more concise. Nevertheless, each product for sale is photographed from three angles; and we have implemented the ability to zoom in on the photos (by clicking on them) to allow you to examine the product in detail.
