A light general cleaning would be helpful, but the model is otherwise in excellent condition. It's complete with its separate headlights. The license plate is present, and you'll notice a nice Spanish touch: the number on the plate matches the model's reference number! It looks as if it's never been removed from its box! Proof of this is the presence of a dried-out rubber band resting on the plastic base of the box between the two front wheels. However, there doesn't appear to have been any chemical reaction with the tires. This model was produced in Spain by Pilen; it's typical of the "M" series, manufactured in the 1970s and easily identifiable by its rigid display case, consisting of a yellow plastic base and a lid bearing the manufacturer's name. The inclusion of the model name tag on the base of the box is a welcome feature (this is often missing). One might question the motivation behind wanting to reproduce this model in a rally version… as it never really shone! However, this particular reproduction is quite rare! So take advantage of it!
