This camper was produced by Hornby for set number 11, the "Travellers" set. Set number 10 (Railway Personnel) and set number 11 were released in 1953 to replace sets 1, 2, 4, and 5. This camper in blue shorts is number 11 in set 11. These plastic figures were designed to be unbreakable and were produced to replace the more fragile lead figures.
