Item without its box -

Model status: 4.5

Description: The Innocenti Mini 90/120 is a Mini re-bodied by Bertone (designed by Marcello Gandini), launched at the Turin Motor Show in 1974. Innocenti, a Milanese subsidiary then under British Leyland control, had been assembling Minis under license since the 1960s; faced with the arrival of the Autobianchi A112 and the Fiat 127, the company entrusted Bertone with an entirely new, three-door body with a tailgate (which the English Mini never had from the factory). It was sold on the continent but never in the United Kingdom! Acquired by De Tomaso in 1976, it became the Mini De Tomaso, then received Daihatsu 3-cylinder engines from 1982 until 1993. The Turin-based firm Mercury reproduced this Mini Bertone under reference 20, at 1/43rd scale, in zamak, in the second half of the 1970s. It is an Italian production contemporary with the real vehicle... and also one of the last Mercury models! It will be equipped with black plastic 6-hole wheels with chrome trim, clear glazing, a black interior, and a cream body that will require a small cleaning. There is a suspension defect on the rear axle, which is due to the toy's design. The collector took the liberty of adding a rally decal to the hood. This adds a little color to this model! If you wish to remove it, it doesn't seem complicated. We offer it to you at an unbeatable price!
