Description: Further proof that you can find great models on Junior! This single-seater is one of the most difficult to find in this series, which was released just after the war, in the early 1940s! Proof of this is the period label on the chassis, which comes from Mr. Shaerporell... "RARE: 400 Fr"! This version is one of the very first, identifiable by the presence of notched grey tires; this thick layer of paint, as well as the presence of the moulded racing number six. To top it all off, the white version is rare. This superb product is very heavily inspired by the one produced by Märklin before the war! The model shows some chips, which is inevitable on this type of product, especially with white paint! However, the whole is entirely original. This is a very good opportunity. For the record, you will notice that the Mercury GP reference 40, which represents a Mercedes GP, has a mould with parts very similar to this model. One could very easily imagine that the Turin company showed inventiveness in reusing the mould of this Auto Union to adapt it to produce what would be its reference 40! Clever Italians!
