Description: The "Wall's Ice Cream Van" is one of Corgi Toys' most iconic models. Referenced as 447, built on a Ford Thames van, it was produced in Great Britain from 1965 to 1966 at approximately 1/46 scale (10.5 cm). This first 447 version came with two figures (an ice cream vendor and a child); the subsequent musical version (474) removed them in favor of a chime. The actual vehicle is a Ford Thames van converted into an ice cream truck. Fun fact: the steering wheel is on the left, so that the vehicle parks as close to the sidewalk as possible and children queue safely, not in the road. The miniature features a blue body with a cream upper part, a translucent yellow/red striped awning, a service window, and the "Wall's Ice Cream" decal. Concave steel rims (spun hubs) and black tires. The model offered here is not in 5/5 condition; we regret the loss of the tip of the front right bumper; various small chips and scuffs (on the upper cream part of the pickup, the upper front left part of the vehicle) and a very slight lack on the left door decal. However, our model remains very presentable! And entirely original! We appreciate the fact that no windows are cracked. Furthermore, both rear window opening systems are functional. The rims are beautiful and the suspensions work. A highly sought-after Corgi classic. ;
