Description: The Fiat 1800, which appeared in 1959, marked Fiat's return to the mid-to-high-end six-cylinder segment, with a pontoon style characteristic of the late 1950s; its Familiare version responded to the growing enthusiasm for the family estate car. It was natural then that Dinky Toys France integrated it into its 500 Series in 1960, at a time when the Bobigny brand was multiplying European sedans and estate cars to attract an increasingly demanding child clientele. This would be the first Dinky Toys France model equipped with steering! The miniature captivates with its careful simplicity: zamac body, red interior under clear glazing, concave chrome steel rims fitted with notched black tires. Good paint quality, even if we note the presence of some rubbing on the prominent parts, though it remains discreet. There is also a crack on the glazing, left side. The collector also added a license plate to the front. But this can be easily removed. Three colors followed one another until the reference was discontinued in 1963 — straw yellow, Parma violet, and this light blue with a dark blue roof, which remains the hardest to find. The example offered is precisely the rare variant: a beautiful pale blue with a deep roof, complete and original... which will be all the more appreciated as the quality of the roof is rarely in this condition, without marks.
