Description: Milcars was a distributor of plastic toys from the 1970s-1980s, specializing in small injection-molded plastic vehicles sold in blister packs. These low-end toys, often described as "bazaar toys," were manufactured in France ("printed in France" appears on the blister pack) and primarily distributed in supermarkets and bazaars. This "Baskerville Fire" firefighter version was made by Champion. With its emergency truck decor, side protective bars, and "FIRE BASKERVILLE FIRE" inscription, we have all the essential ingredients for marketing a typical bazaar toy. The inscription "incassable / unzerbrechlich / unbreakable" appears on the blister pack. This demonstrates the company's desire to export its products to neighboring countries. This model shares a common chassis with all of Champion's Dodge 6x6s, equipped with needle-axle fast wheels. Estimated production years: 1970s-early 1980s. Excellent condition; in its original blister pack, this model is original and amusing. The Milcars blister pack is present. A nice bazaar model for collectors of unusual toys or fire-themed items.
