Description: The Bedford OB is one of the most famous British post-war coaches. Produced from 1945 onwards, it provided tourist and regional services throughout the UK for several decades. This 1/50 scale Corgi Classics miniature replicates a vehicle from the Scottish company Bluebird, the trade name used by the Scottish company W. Alexander & Sons. The "Northern Dundee" marking, indicating the bus's destination, is a nice touch. The "W. 215" marking on the lower side corresponds to the fleet number assigned by the operator to this actual coach. This version was still manufactured in Great Britain in 1986 and belongs to the first generation of Corgi Classics intended for collectors, paying homage to one of the most iconic coaches in the history of British road transport. The set is in superb condition. Completely original. Includes the period price: 125 Fr.!
