Description : La Checker (carrosserie Marathon) fut, des années 1960 aux années 1980, le taxi new-yorkais par excellence, réputé pour sa robustesse et son habitacle spacieux qui régna sur Manhattan. C'est précisément cette image populaire de cinéma que ERTL a voulu reproduire dans sa gamme Classic Vehicles au 1/43e. Ce modèle a été produit aux alentours de 1988. Le modèle séduit par son jaune taxi éclatant, son damier latéral et ses chromes. La pièce est à l'état neuf, sous coque dans sa boîte d'origine. Une icône américaine idéale pour la vitrine.
