Description: Superb product made in the late 90s. The model is complete, in excellent condition, with its complete box. This set is very representative of VEREM branded products. As a reminder, Verem was founded in the early 80s with a simple concept: to exploit existing Solido molds, but reissued with new decorations, additional accessories, or to create special military or export versions. This piece perfectly illustrates this with the reuse of the Solido mold of the GMC tarped torpedo, but with the addition of this "water tank" trailer, which never existed at Solido! In addition, we will appreciate the addition of new decals such as that of the FFL. It should also be noted that Verem wanted to keep rims equipped with rubber tires, whereas at the same time, Solido had long since switched to using one-piece plastic wheels. To conclude, it must be understood that Verem's idea was to continue to exploit amortized molds by producing more specialized series, targeting adult collectors and releasing variants, without touching Solido's main range. This allowed Solido to maintain its mainstream image. Moreover, it should be remembered that the name VEREM comes from VEhicles REMember! To conclude, Verem's productions were therefore more confidential than Solido's. This is a superb type of product for military enthusiasts!
