Description: The model presented here was produced by the German manufacturer Conrad. This series was launched in the late 80s, early 90s. This model seems to have been produced between 1982 and 1988. It reproduces phase 2 of the Mercedes-Benz NG (Neue Generation), recognizable by its air deflectors at the corners of the cab, initially produced between 1973 and 1988. The miniature model presented here is often referred to as the "Schweizer Version". The name "Swiss Version" (or Schweizer Version) comes from the technical configuration of the chassis. In Switzerland, the regulations of the time on weights and measures favored 4-axle trucks (8x4) to maximize payload, while in the rest of Europe, 2 or 3-axle models were more common. The wheel arrangement on this miniature model precisely imitates these heavy Swiss trucks. The model presented here is new... But, above all, it is complete! Its box is complete and well-formed.
