Description: Vibro is a French brand of "plaster and flour" toys (actually molded whiting), a typical post-war category. Documented VIBRO pieces are dated around 1950, to approximate small scales (1/87 and 1/100 can be found). This small village church made of hand-painted composite (plaster type); has yellow walls, a red roof, green shutters, and a tree on the gable. A decorative element for a miniature village or railway network. This uncommon product was made for Vibro games; these accessories were sold individually; they were intended to be placed on Vibro tracks to bring them to life. These models were made of plaster and flour. "Plaster and flour" toys emerged from the metal shortage during and after World War II: whiting was molded to make very cheap toys, often sold in bazaars, at fairs, or given as premiums. It was a genre shared by many small manufacturers, many of whom are anonymous or poorly documented. Beautiful painting, model in excellent condition; a charming product that will bring life to your display cabinet!
