Description: Vibro is a French brand of "plaster and flour" toys (in reality molded whiting), a typical post-war category. Documented VIBRO pieces are dated around 1950, to approximate small scales (1/87 and 1/100 can be found). This uncommon product was made for Vibro games; these accessories were sold individually; they were intended to be placed on Vibro tracks to bring them to life. These models were made of plaster and flour. "Plaster and flour" toys emerged from the metal shortage during and after World War II: whiting was molded to make very cheap toys, often sold in bazaars, at fairs, or given as premiums. This genre was shared by many small manufacturers, many of whom are anonymous or poorly documented. Beautiful paint, model in excellent condition; a charming product that will add life to your display cabinet!
