Description: Assembly kit. Solido launched this range in the 1970s to expand its product line and attract model enthusiasts, a clientele older and different from those buying standard toys. The idea was to offer "customizable" rally cars. Indeed, the kits include three different decal sheets, allowing you to choose which rally you want to associate your model with. Solido hoped to leverage its reputation to compete with manufacturers like Heller and Airfix. The idea was sound, as Solido had already attracted motorsport enthusiasts through its numerous reproductions of vehicles dedicated to this theme. However, these were produced in small quantities and achieved only moderate success. The kit offered here is complete, containing the white metal cockpit, a bag of accessories, assembly instructions, and at least one of the three decal sheets.
