One-piece figure in painted lead.
This character was marketed under the Hornby brand, and later under the Dinky Toys name. It was sold in a box set, bearing serial numbers from 1 to 10. The character shown here is part of box set number four, the railway employees.
This figure is part of a lot that belonged to a person who had purchased them during the period. As was often the case at the time, on some pieces in the lot, the person was able to make a few small touch-ups with a brush. These touch-ups were done with great care, and they were made during the period! Note that these different figures are pre-war products.
These are absolutely ideal products to enhance your window displays! Especially at this price!
